The vision and goal of the Hillcrest Athletic program is to offer every athlete the opportunity to achieve their academic and athletic potential. A place where all student-athletes are developing and valuing integrity, intelligence, perseverance, responsibility and goal setting. The goal of the athletics program is for Hillcrest athletics to be elevated and winning the UIL Lone Star Trophy, an award for the top athletic and academic program in the state.

Coach Jacob Ramon
Currently the Athletic Director of Hillcrest High School in Dallas, Texas, Coach Jacob Ramon begins his 5th year as the Athletic Coordinator & Head Football Coach and 28th year in coaching.
Prior to his arrival at Hillcrest, Ramon coached at several schools in Texas. Most recently, he was the running game coordinator at Plano East Senior High School. He also had stops at Killeen Ellison, Belton, W.T. White, Sabine, San Antonio East Central and San Antonio Burbank high schools.
He is married to Maribel and they have an 8-year-old daughter Isabella Marie. He and his wife also have custody of their niece, Sarah Barrera. In his spare time, Ramon loves to spend time with his family and is a member of Life Central Church in Plano.
