Independent reading is key to academic and personal growth. When students read for pleasure, they build vocabulary, strengthen comprehension, and improve writing and critical-thinking skills. The Media Center encourages a love of reading by offering materials that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a passion for learning.
Research shows that strong school libraries boost student achievement. By supporting independent research and classroom instruction, the Daleville High School Media Center empowers every Warhawk to reach their full potential.
