Acceptable Logo Usage on Merchandise

When designing merchandise for Daemen University or Daemen clubs/organizations, it is important to consider the placement and color of the graphics. Daemen affiliated logos should be in the upper third of shirts/sweatshirts and large enough to be easily recognizable from afar. Logo colors should be easily legible on merch, to ensure legibility, be sure to select high contrast colors, i.e. a white logo on a dark blue shirt.

Business Cards

All Daemen University business cards follow a uniform formatting to ensure consistency across the institution. An online form can be found on this site allowing you to order business cards with your specific title and contact information. Unique icons are used interchangably to signify modes of communication.

Nametags

Like our business cards, Daemen nametags also have a standard format. An online form on this site allows you to order nametags individually or in bulk. Minor customization for color and size is permitted.

Email Signature

When setting up their email preferences, Daemen encourages all employees to use the Email Signature Generator found in thier myDaemen dashboard. This ensures consistent formatting across communications from all Daemen representatives.

Interior Signage

Signs are to be placed on the latch side of the door. If there is no room on that wall, the sign may be mounted on the nearest adjacent wall.
The baseline of the signs are to be mounted between 48" at the lowest point to 60" at the highest point. This allows signs of different sizes to be mounted on the same visual plane.
54" to the bottom of the sign often works for all signage and is an optimal height.
For double doors, the sign should be mounted on the inactive door or if both doors are active, to the right side of the door.
Text must be in simple, sans serif font and a medium or bold weight. Ideal font is ITC Avant Garde Pro or something as close as possible.
Font size should be within a range of 5/8" to 2" in height. 5/8" is the most common size used on interior signs.
