This Chapter Book introduces and explains laws and rules and why it is important to follow them. Chapter 1 discusses what a rule and a law are, and why we should follow them. Chapter 2 explains how leaders work together to make new laws. Chapter 3-6 present Mr. Landry's class working together in groups to research a problem and make a rule to help solve the problem. Finally, the class compromises to make new class rules. Throughout this unit, have students identify classroom and school rules.
