Welcome to my website!

I currently teach 6th-8th physical Education. I have taught many years of health at OP as well, but this year I will only be teaching PE. I love educating my students on the importance of health and wellness during their teen years while guiding them to be the best version of themselves everyday.

Meet Mrs. Russell:

I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with with a degree in Physical Education, Health Education, Driver Education. I have been teaching PE/Health at OP for 16 years. I have a masters degree in Teacher Leadership from Concordia University, Chicago.

I ran cross country & track while at EIU. I currently coach XC & track at Downers Grove North High School. In my free time I love to spend time with my family, stay active, cook, & travel.
