¡Bienvenidos! 

Welcome to my website! My name is Señora Abrahamsen and I have taught Spanish to second through eighth grade students throughout District 64 for the last sixteen years. I love teaching Spanish and this is my sixth year at Roosevelt. I love getting to know the students, parents and staff in the Roosevelt School family. At home, I LOVE spending time with my husband, Greg, daughter, Maddie, playing with our three cats (I lovingly call them our "fur-babies"), spending time with family and friends, cooking and being crafty. I also LOVE Harry Potter. Let's see if you can spot my passion for Potter as you look through my website. As you see me throughout the building, at school events and in the community, you will notice that I rarely am without a cup of coffee, something "Harry Potter"-themed and a smile. I adore teaching Spanish and hopefully you will love learning Spanish with me too!
