Mrs. Jurczak's Class

Welcome to the jungle!

Meet Mrs. Jurczak

My studies in education began at St. Mary’s College in Winona, Minnesota where I received a BA in elementary education. I continued my education at Saint Xavier College where I earned my MA in education. I started my teaching career at St. Monica’s in Chicago where I taught Kindergarten and second grade. Following St. Monica’s, I started teaching at Carpenter. I have been teaching second grade for the last 21 years and have had the pleasure of meeting numerous wonderful students and families. My husband Gene and I have two daughters, Karlee and Danielle. Karlee is a senior at Elmhurst College and Danielle is a sophomore at the University of Missouri. We also have a dog named Guinness. We have been grateful to have our children attend District 64 schools as well as District 207. I am thrilled to be part of the Carpenter staff and to serve the Carpenter families.
