Welcome to this webpage! I hope this site will be useful and allow communication concerning physical education (all levels), technology 6 & health 6 education at Emerson Middle School. My goal is to encourage and support students to be physically, mentally and socially well for a lifetime.

About me... I have 16 years of experience in the field of education. My bachelors degree is from Northeastern Illinois University and I have a major in physical education with a minor in health education. I enjoy sailing, cooking, travel, skiing, exercising, scuba diving and spending time with my family. I have a supportive, wonderful wife and two energetic, identical twin nine-year-old daughters.

This school year, I am looking forward to building strong relationships with my students, parents, staff, and the community.

Something interesting about myself would be that I am a Tsunami survivor. In 2004 I was in Thailand on the beach during the tsunami in the Indian Ocean. Carpe diem!
