About me

My background:

I graduated from Indiana University and started teaching first grade in Chicago. I taught first grade for 4 years and then taught 3rd grade in Niles for 2 years until my first daughter was born. I stayed home for 14 years and took care of my 3 daughters and 1 son! When my son was in first grade, I started subbing in District 64. In 2006, I accepted the Literacy position at Carpenter School and have been thrilled to be a part of the Carpenter Family!

My Family & Interests:

I live in Park Ridge with my husband and my two dogs, Chloe & Beverly. Today, my children are 31, 30, 28 & 25. When I am not teaching, I love to play tennis and read books! This summer I started to play golf and am learning paddle tennis! This winter, I became a grandma! We welcomed Connor Michael on January 8th & Dean Francis on February 1st! I am head over heels in love with my 2 new grandsons!
