District 62 Working Together

Strategic Plan

District 62 will formally begin its strategic planning process in January of 2018. Discussions have begun centering around the development of a strategic plan to guide us through the next several years in order to set a clear vision and direction for the district.

We are proud to partner with the Consortium for Educational Change (CEC) to lead us in this critical process. This plan is one that goes beyond staff involvement. We intend to include and engage with our community members through surveys and meetings. Seeking input and ideas from all of our stakeholder groups, including community members, businesses, staff, students, and parents, will be a priority in the coming months. We ask that you consider committing to participate in one of these two community engagement meetings in 2018, to help us determine the direction of our district for the next five years.
