Here are a few “constants” to be on the lookout for:

• Every day your child should be logging at least 20 minutes on their reading log. You sign this at the end of the month.
• Each “spelling week” will come with a white or yellow practice page that they work on daily. On Wednesdays of each “spelling week,” they need someone to test them on their words. On off weeks, they will be tested on ten words from that month and they will have Root Word and grammar practice.
• Every Friday is work review day. Check out all of the work they are bringing home in the back of their binders and sign off. You can check the red side daily for missing assignments or behavior.
• Everyday we are on Dojo; connect with us!
• Most days, students will need to create a flipgrid video for homework.
• Each week, students will have an IXL page to master with the due date on the top.
• Each week, students will have a reading assignment checklist on which they must complete the section called, “Must Do’s” by the due date listed at the top.
