On Saturday, September 17 the car show was thriving. From classics to new electric cars parked all along the entirety of the main street and through the alley ways. People were strolling through with their family and friends complimenting and observing the models they saw. They talked about the paint jobs, the years of the cars, interiors, suspensions, and engines. There were even some cars there that were for sale, people showing off their motorcycles, and even their cars that weren’t completely fixed up and ready to show yet at their fullest potential. But no matter what people were showing off, the ones looking still had a blast looking and asking questions if they were curious. From my own experience being a viewer at the car show downtown, I had one of the best times. Personally
Car shows and meets are one of my favorite things to be involved in. So being able to see some of my favorite classics and even one of my favorite top 5 cars was very exciting. I loved looking at the engines and asking the car owners questions. My favorite car there that I was obsessing over the whole time was the 240z. It was a really nice green and by talking to the owner I had found out they had taken it to the Classic Japanese Car Show in Long Beach California. There are always events like these happening around town, they are held downtown and parks all around Grand Junction.
