As fall comes right around the corner, that means that football season is coming too. NFL Football is a big part of American homes today. What does the NFL mean to our country and to high school football players?
Football season comes around the best time of the year. The weather gets cold, the food gets hot, and most of all, football is playing in the background of almost every home in America. On September 8th the NFL will kick off the season with Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills facing Matthew Stafford and the 2022 Super Bowl champions, the Los Angeles Rams.
Palisade varsity football player and senior, Kade Smith is excited for this NFL season. He says, “ I am excited to see who makes it to the Super Bowl this season and to hopefully see the Baltimore Ravens make it to the playoffs. I'm excited to see the physicality and how the players are going to play this season.”
Football has been a big part of Kade’s life for as long as he can remember. He says, “Football means a lot to me. It has really built my character and to become a better person. I love the coaches and how they don't just teach football, but how they teach personal knowledge and that's where I learn a lot of life lessons. From my coaches and from playing football. That’s why I love football and why it is such a big part of my life.”
Many other boys just like Kade Smith are looking forward to watching their favorite NFL football teams fight for a place in the Super Bowl this year. Support your favorite NFL football team this year and tune in on the games to see who makes it to the Super Bowl.
