On September 24th and 23rd Fruita had its annual fall fest and had another great year with the community banding together to have a great weekend. Jared Prochnow an active member of the community in Fruita described this year's fall festival as “good, not as good as other years but it was pretty solid with great entertainment.” The Festival has been getting smaller through the past years because of covid but the festivities are coming back. The Fruita Fall Fest is a great way for the community to band together and Jared says “The community is sold out for the festival. It’s easily the biggest festival of the year, and it's only organized by three people at the chamber they do a great job and everyone loves it” A big part of this year's Festival was the music and entertainment just having fun and being able to spend time with friends, and the effect on the community year after year is only growing Jared said “It affects me every year because I look forward to it every year. Ethan (his oldest son) used to love going to it on his birthday each year. That became a tradition and I hope Alex (Younger son) will want to pick the tradition up.” The festival is a great family event for everyone in the grand valley it’s a great place to be with a huge community full of amazing people and families.
