Monday was the day to remember her majesty. Queen Elizabeth passed away peacefully in her home in Balmoral, Scotland on September 8, 2022. Her funeral will go down in history. PHS Teacher Jennie Stout stated “This will be a big day to remember.” Which she is correct. Queen Elizabeth had the throne for over 70 years. The longest of any British monarch. The queen’s The funeral was most of the day, most guards were hot and tired and one even passed out. Many people were there to remember this day. Many mourned the queen's death. At her funeral she was surrounded by family and her people. Stout said “I liked how they made nobody else seem important, even when there were famous people there, they were all focused on the queen.” She is correct. The queen was the number one priority this day, many were there to see it happen. We just watched history unfold. Many non-british people watched the live streaming of her funeral. Showing their respect towards her. There were millions of people watching the funeral. Royal funerals are no joke and have a lot of significance and events along with them. Many are worried about the throne going to Prince Charles who will soon be King Charles. This is a scary time for England, especially because the queen has gotten them through so much, especially Covid. May the queen rest in peace and England will become calm once again.
