Palisades Volleyball team won 3-0 this past Saturday. The lady bulldogs have won six out of their 8 games this year. Last Saturday we won all 3 sets. The first set palisade won 14 to 25 with a huge lead against Summit. Ava Walitt (Junior) Palisades Libero on the volleyball team Said “We played pretty well, we worked better as a team.” She also said, “One of the problems we've been having as a team is being more hesitant on defense and overthinking but on Saturday I feel like we all did a lot better with that and we went for the ball and we didn't have to think about it as much as we have been.” Kyra one of the volleyball girls for palisade got an injury in one of the first games of the season and has been out since then. “When Kyra tore her ACL we didn't really know what was gonna happen with that but I feel like we've been connecting pretty well and it's still been a bit rough at a few of our games but were getting better and getting to practice and play more as a team.” Said Ava Walitt. Looking forward to the season we are all ready to see how the rest of the lady bulldogs games turn out. Some of Ava’s goals for the team are “Making it to state again because we have the last few years so we want to get there again.” Come and support our team by going to Palisade's next Volleyball game on Saturday the seventeenth against Holy Family.
