A fun exciting union game where all schools, Palisade, Central, Junction, and Fruita get together to watch the Palisade and Central football teams go head to head.
With everyone from every school showing up to support and get the chance to see their other friends from other schools. For some that’s the best part. Getting to have a blast and make possibly some of the best memories high schoolers could make. Getting themes for the games so they have a fun way to show up dressed all together. With last Friday’s theme to dress being neon. With the bright colors around the whole Stocker Stadium, who wouldn’t be excited and hyped for the game and the people around them ready to cheer on and have a good time. Being in the student section of course being the most active and supportive section of the bleachers. Cheering on not only the football team but also cheering on with the cheerleaders. Screaming the chants and cheers in competition with the other schools to see who’s loudest and most into the rivalry. Regular school games with only the two rival schools being in the stadium are always fun, but having a whole bunch of people from each school filling up the stands, concessions, and walkways might make it so much better and interesting to most. Asking a former Central student, Gabe Moore. What he thought was the best part of being able to get together. “Well since there’s only four schools in the valley the proximity creates a strong bond between the students”. With all the schools walking around and you with your friends walking from the bleachers down to the concession stands, then running into someone from another school that you haven’t seen in a long time. It can reconnect and reunite students from across the valley.
