Student of the Week: Jonathon Leonard

This week we had the honor of talking to this week's student of the week, Jonathon Leonard. He was MVP in the basketball game last week on Thursday, March 2nd winning 1 out of 4 games with the help of his team! We were able to interview Jonathon and ask him some questions about the game and himself.

We asked him how the experience was and what his favorite part of the game was, “It was good. My favorite part would be getting the rebound and being able to pass the ball to other people so they can be able to shoot the ball.” He told us that he believes his team didn’t just work really well individually, but they played really well together. We asked him what he would say was the most challenging part of the game, “Trying to let the team not lose their score.” Jonathon doesn’t only play basketball, he also plays soccer for fun with his friends! Jonathon plays defense and loves doing so. He likes soccer for the fun and not the competitive side. Joanathon also tells us that he doesn’t really care for other sports besides soccer, a rock hard soccer fan!

Jonathon was a really valued member of the basketball team, he was there to keep everyone's spirits up and loved being in the game. He made sure everyone was included and had their fair share of time to shine! Let’s give it up for Joanathon Leonard, a real team player and someone we can all look up to!
