Get ready for action after Thanksgiving break. Boys basketball has its first game the weekend after the break at central high school. Girl's basketball will also be having a game but it is an away game. There are also wrestling's first matches that Friday and Saturday. Mrs. Young, one of Palisades staff members said, “Fall sports are wrapping up we still have football going on. They are playing this weekend in green mountain for the quarter-finals, and then cheer is getting ready to go into regionals this weekend. We are now starting up winter sports which include basketball, wrestling, and girls swimming. Competitions will be starting on December first.” Make sure you go and support your teams during the winter season and wish them all good luck with their first competitions.

The Friday after the break there will be an assembly to kick off Stucos 12 days of Christmas. During the assembly, there will be games and other fun activities to get everyone in the spirit. Moving into the next week there will be hall and doorway decorating as well as Christmas tree decorating. Some other events are spirit days and music during passing periods. Complimentary hot chocolate will also be available throughout the 12 days of Christmas. If you can please bring toys to donate to the toys for tots charity. StuCo is also getting half off ice skating for all palisade staff and students on Saturday, Sept 10th as long as you mention you are from the Palisade.
