Palisades Girls' Volleyball team wins against Glenwood for the second time this season. In the first game they played against them they went all five sets 3-2. Lauren Hardin, a junior at Palisade and one of the varsity girls said “I felt really good, I felt like our team did really well with our communication and just our work ethic.” Ella Steele a senior at palisade high school and one of the varsity girls had her first game back after her injury. She had a limited role for her first game back but she still got to play and made some good plays. Ella played 3 of the 5 sets and had 16 assists. Lauren said, “It was good having her back, she's always been a big part of our team and it was really nice having her back because we really missed her.”
Palisade lost the first and third matches by only 3 points and put in a good fight with the lead going back and forth throughout the sets. In the other 3 sets Palisade won with big leads. “It felt pretty good playing them for a second time. We beat them the first time so it was nice to show them that we can do it again and that we don't back down.” Lauren stated. Looking into the rest of the season she said “I'm kinda sad that it's almost the end but I'm really excited to go to regionals and hopefully state”. Show your volleyball team support when you see them in the hallway and wish them good luck for the rest of their season.
