It's that time of year again when trick or treat street comes around. Whether you’re old or young, It's a fun tradition put on by Palisade High School that everyone can enjoy. Every year clubs will set up rooms for elementary school students to come around to trick or treat. I talked to Ian Shiao, a member of Palisade’s StuCo, he said, “Elementary schools in the Palisade and Grand Junction area come to the high school and do activities and get candy. Any clubs like StuCo or newspaper can qualify as a room to hand out candy to kids. It’s very fun and is a good way to get younger kids involved with Palisade High School. If you have any younger siblings you should totally bring them. It’s from 4:30 to 6:30 this Thursday to get in the Halloween Spirit.” I talked to Siena Miller about this fun night and she said, “I would have so definitely gone if I had an older sibling who went to Palisade when I was little. If I had a little sibling I would definitely bring them, I don’t though. It sounds really fun and really exciting and I can’t wait to see how all the club’s rooms turn out. I think it’s just a good way to get the future of Palisade interested in the high school.”
Clearly, this is quite an exciting night not just for elementary schools, but all the clubs involved in making this spooky night happen. We can't wait to see how all the rooms turn out.
