0.5 PHYSICAL EDUCATION CREDIT OR ELECTIVE CREDIT
GRADE 9 -12
Students will be educated on the multiple ways to exercise to promote a functional healthy lifestyle. Students will be taught the fundamental ways in which the human body moves within these different types of exercise prescriptions (squat, hinge, press). Additionally, Students will learn collaborative skills when asked to perform and or create an exercise workout in a group and or partner setting. The end goal is to teach students the many different ways to functionally exercise the body (HITT, yoga, circuit, TABATA, THR, etc.) and how to successfully create that for themselves once they graduate from CHS.
