Internship, Internship, Internship! This class focuses on helping you get a short internship in a career field of interest. Students build on prior knowledge and skills in the program of study to further develop and apply employability and technical skills that prepare them for success in future career and postsecondary education. At the very least students are exposed through Job Shadows, Interviews, and field trips to careers of interest. Get credit for working, and possibly get paid, sounds like a great opportunity!
Business Practicum is a capstone course intended to provide students with the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge learned in previous Business courses within a professional, working environment. In addition to developing an understanding of the professional and ethical issues encountered in the workplace, students learn to refine their skills in problem-solving, research, communication, data analysis, teamwork, and project management.
