Directions: You are going to design your own playground and find the area of each section. 

Steps (Complete all work in your notebook):

1) Decide on what will be in your playground. 

2) Do a sketch of our playground. 

3) You must have shapes that you can find the area for- such as rectangles and squares.  Look at the sample below. 

4) Draw your playground on the poster paper. 

5) Find the area of each of the sections in your playground. 

6) Add other objects.  See if you can label them with fun math names.
