For this project,  you are going to find five items in your classroom that you can measure to find the perimeter.  You will use a ruler and measure in inches.  You will want to find items where you can clearly measure each side.  A book would work great, but a soccer ball will not work.  

Set up your data in a neat, organized chart.  This can be on a Google Doc or on a piece of paper.  See the sample below.
