What is Operation Snowball?
Operation Snowball is a youth-led organization dedicated to promoting healthy choices through encouraging self-confidence, leadership and life skills. This D211 Operation Snowball chapter includes: Schaumburg High School, Hoffman Estates High School, James B. Conant High School, and Palatine High School. Each year, the organization holds a retreat at one of the schools where students can participate in team building activities, listen to motivational speakers, and enjoy making new friends guided by trained student leaders. The Operation Snowball retreat is a safe environment for students of all backgrounds to express themselves and discuss how to cope with the struggles of high school, while having an amazingly fun experience along the way.
D211's Operation Snowball is a Chapter of Operation Snowball Inc., a non-profit organization which began in 1977, and today has 80 Chapters in its membership across the nation and 30 Chapters internationally. To learn more about Operation Snowball Inc., visit www.os-cgti.org .
