Ecology, evolution, disturbance, and restoration
About me
About me
I am interested in a broad range of ecological topics, including impacts of disturbance and invasive species on ecosystems, long-term changes in plant and animal communities, restoration ecology, and natural history. I have conducted experimental (field, greenhouse and lab) and observational studies, and used techniques ranging from vegetation surveys to molecular analyses. My primary career goals are to improve our understanding and management of natural systems through high-quality research, to mentor future generations of scientists, and to foster public engagement with the natural world.
