Short description of the project
The European University of Technology (EUt+) is an alliance between eight institutions and countries of Europe – including universities of technologies from Cyprus, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Romania and Spain– that share an share an appetite for transdisciplinarity, and a human-centered approach to technology. The long-term goal of the alliance is the full integration of the existing institutions in order to build a new European model of education. The vision is to offer an inclusive and diverse model of education that delivers a high-level scientific education and research and raises technological responsible citizens that are able to act for a better world. The ambition of the alliance is to offer degrees to future students, as a single European university of technology. The degrees will be offered at all levels (Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Doctoral) covering fields studies such as networks and telecommunications, mechanical engineering, materials, information systems, sustainable development, architecture, etc. At the same time, EUt+ aims to promote the interdisciplinary approach according to which the Humanities and Social Sciences are also integrated into the technological curricula.
