Erasmus

This year sees us enter the final year of our three year Kids Conquering Castles (KCC) project. A small team of staff headed to Vienna in October to meet with their European counterparts to plan the final ERASMUS camp which takes place in Berlin, Germany. Following the teacher meeting the agenda was set for the after school club. Most of our work is uploaded to a members only website on eTwinning, however you can see some of the highlights here!

We have been given the winning Catalan castle design, Balsareny Castle. Now we have to colour them in Pop Art style and YOU get to vote on the winner! This will be combined with 5 other designs from each of our European partner countries to be printed off into a booklet. We will receive these in Berlin in our camp in May and sell them. The profits will be donated to an NGO which is voted on later this year.

The preparations of our post card competition. The winning drawing was of Cardiff Castle by Nika which the children then experimented with colouring in the Pop Art style.

Our Skype call with our Catalonian partners. Christmas carols, quizzes and seasons greetings.

Our Committee for 2018! Congratulations!

A busy few days of meetings but the agenda for the trip to Berlin has been provisionally set, we look forward to sharing it with you in the near future.
