Functional Reading Curriculum:
In our classroom, we focus on building strong foundational reading and language skills at a Pre-K to 2nd-grade level. Students work on identifying and naming letters, recognizing letter sounds, and developing sight word vocabulary to support early reading success. We also practice reading simple stories and answering comprehension questions to help students understand what they read. Lessons are hands-on, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual learning needs. Our goal is to help every student grow in confidence, improve communication, and develop a love for learning through consistent support and positive experiences.
Vocational Skills Curriculum:
In our classroom, we focus on developing important life and vocational skills at each student’s individual learning level. Our lessons are designed around real-world concepts to help students build independence and confidence. We work on personal information such as learning and writing their name, address, and telephone number. Students also practice completing simple forms and mock job applications to prepare for future work experiences. Activities are hands-on, engaging, and tailored to meet each student’s unique needs. Our goal is to help every student gain practical skills they can use in everyday life and in future job settings.
