Graduation Expectations

It gives us great pleasure to inform you that Lawndale High School’s 2019 Graduation Ceremony is right around the corner. The entire Centinela Valley Union High School District community is extremely proud of the Class of 2019 and looks forward to seeing family and friends at the graduation ceremony. Our entire school staff- teachers, office staff, safety officers, custodians, and administrators- have been working diligently to prepare our seniors for graduation. Please note: Students must complete all required classes by June 7th at 12:00 p.m. in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.

How to order your cap and gown

NOTE: It might be too late to order, please see Ms. Klein ASAP!

We are ordering our caps and gowns from Herff Jones. You can order directly from their website. If you have trouble finding out how to place your order, you can view the tutorial.

All caps and gowns will be delivered to the school (regardless of the address you put when ordering) and will be passed out the week of graduation. The same caps and gowns will be used whether you chose to rent (paid by the district) or buy. Those renting will return their cap and gown in exchange for their diploma.
