• The Senator for Education and Research shall handle this committee;

• The committee shall propose projects and activities relevant to environmental knowledge, education, and research;

• The committee shall promote environmental awareness, sustainable development, and environmental justice all the time;

• The committee shall administer the appropriate creation and dissemination of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials.
