SandersEvent2024StateSong.MP4SCS Students in grades 4-7 join students from around the state in singing our State Song "These Green Mountains" at an Arts advocacy event hosted by Senator Bernie Sanders on March 9th, 2024 at VSU- Johnson.
Grades 4 -5 Chorus students attend the 2024 VMEA Children's Honors Choir at CVU.

About the Director:
Ms. Jodi Sanders
Ms. Jodi Sanders
Jodi Sanders joined SCS in 2017. Before coming to Shelburne, she taught PK-6 General Music, Band, Chorus, and Musical Theater at Hardwick Elementary School and PS-8 Music, Band and Chorus at St. Joseph’s School and Christ the King School. She holds a B.S. in Music Education and a B.M. in Clarinet Performance from the University of Vermont. She has traveled internationally with Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp (Michigan) and has performed with the Champlain Philharmonic Orchestra and Vermont Symphonic Winds. When not teaching, she is often found throwing pots on the pottery wheel!
