Teachers in the Makerspace

Inservice day with middle school teachers challenged to build something that does something and articulate how their creation symbolizes their feelings about our new involvement with the Tarrant Institute and using technology in innovative ways with students next year-and share those thoughts on our Google+ community.

Using littleBits gave us the opportunity to connect the importance of the design process with information literacy skills (define the task, identify the need, brainstorm -information strategies, imagine, plan, create, evaluate, iterate, do it again) as well as the value of working together.
