Yoga & Mindfulness

Come join Lindsay for peace, love, and yoga! Classes will combine mindfulness, yoga poses, group games, and breathing/relaxation. Yoga and mindfulness practice can reduce stress, build strength and flexibility, and help provide tools for emotional regulation. Lindsay is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher. Open to students in grades 3-8.

Paper Crafting

Join Rebecca to explore a variety of crafts using paper, fiber and found objects. We will learn different ways to use rubber stamps, paint, ink and other mediums to make cards, magnets and repurpose found objects. We will also explore using everyday objects as tools to create stamps, patterns and textures for artwork. Open to students in grades 3-8.

May Mosaics

Artists will join Mr. Boardman to plan and create their own unique mosaics using ceramic, glass, and stone. Mosaic art is when a large piece of art is assembled using lots of smaller colored pieces - kind of like an art puzzle! Open to students in grades 3-8.

Cooking Club

Flannery, Sonia, and Sarah from Shelburne Farms had a great mud season - we all got some practice chopping, sautéing, baking, and gained confidence in the kitchen - and now we are ready to BRING ON THE HEAT! Teams will compete to perfect recipes and show off their cooking skills. Join us on Thursday afternoons in the Makerspace for good food, good fun, and a hearty dose of friendly competition in the kitchen! Open to students in grades 3-8.
