CHESS CLUB FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 1-8

Chess club is starting up once again! Chess Club will meet after school on Thursdays from 3-4:00 in the middle school. At 4:00, students can take the late bus home, if needed, or may be picked up in the front of the school at 4:00. If your child will be hungry after a long day at school, please send an extra snack. Students should be prepared for a short lesson or tip at the beginning and then be willing to play chess with a number of partners for the rest of the hour. Students who have never played will be taught the basics. No experience playing chess is necessary to join. Winter session begins November 16th. Space is limited to the first 25 to sign up!
