Elementary ELAR Coordinator
Dee Doyle’s career has spanned over 20 years in elementary education. She was in the United States Air Force for 8 years. She received her bachelor's degree from Bellevue University and her master’s from St. Thomas University. She has taught primary and intermediate as well as an ELAR campus coach. She has recently been a district elementary ELAR specialist and is now the Early Literacy/Elementary ELAR Coordinator focused on children from PreK to 5th grade. Dee loves reading Patricia Polacco's books and Wonder by R.J. Palacio will forever remain in her heart because it is the last novel she read with her class. It evokes many great memories of rich conversations and students connecting with the text. Lately, Dee spends most of her time with her amazing grandson Krue Mason and reading about all things ELAR, staying up to date on trends, best practices, and tools needed to provide support to principals, teachers, and instructional support teachers of Channelview ISD.
