Just wear your normal swimmers, CVAS will provide the swimming caps.
200m Individual Medley (200IM): Please be aware that some entries for the 200IM have not been accepted due to lane availability and entry criteria. We ask that you check the program carefully to confirm if your child is competing in this specific event.
Student Preparation: We will write your child’s age (as of 31/12/26) on their hand. And if space, their event number(s) to help them stay organised.
Inclusive Carnival: This is an inclusive event; students will not be disqualified for incorrect strokes. However, incorrect strokes will be recorded as "exhibition swims" and will not be eligible for CIS qualification.
To ensure the safety of students and the accuracy of officiating, the following rules are strictly enforced:
Restricted Areas: The poolside must remain clear for NSW Swimming Officials. Parents are not permitted in the marshalling area.
Access Limits: No access is permitted past the cones on the left-hand side of the pool. On the right-hand side, only swimmers and officials may pass the handrail.
Conduct: Parents must follow all NCIS instructions at all times. Please note that failure to comply with these requests or instructions may result in your child being disqualified.
Protests: No protests will be accepted from parents; these may only be submitted by Mr Ross
CIS Selection: The top 3 individuals and top 2 relay teams will qualify for the NCIS team to compete at the NSW CIS Championships on 25 March 2026.
