I am so excited to have you all in my class this year--6th grade history is the best! We will be learning about the rise of civilizations and the Ancient World. You'll also learn a lot of new skills that will help you on your way to becoming a thoughtful historian.
Hi everyone! I am so excited to be starting my sixth year at Canyon Middle School. Sixth grade was my absolute favorite year of school and sparked my love of history!
I have an undergraduate degree in History from UC Santa Cruz (Go Banana Slugs!), and also hold a Master's Degree in Medieval & Renaissance Studies from King's College London. I completed my teacher credential program at Cal State East Bay.
Outside of school I enjoy reading whatever I can get my hands on, traveling, and spending time with my husband and daughter and our crazy dog Holly.
