About the Teacher
About the Teacher:
This is my 20th year teaching full-time and my 15th year at Canyon. Prior to coming to Canyon, I taught elementary school, substituted and was a stay-at-home mom for my 3 children. I am married, and have two dogs, Emery and Bailey. We are host parents to an international student from Korea. Our oldest son, Jacob is 26, married to Hannah and they live with their German Shepherd Kyra in Lynchburg, VA. Our second son, Jay is 25, married to Elise and working and living in Texas with their Golden Retriever Gus. Finally, our daughter, Jordan is 22 and graduated from college in April, and is teaching PE.
I am looking forward to a fun and rewarding year with each of you.
