California Young Reader Medal

"The California Young Reader Medal (CYRM) program encourages recreational reading of popular literature among the young people of our state. Since its inception in 1974, millions of California children have nominated, read, and voted for the winners of the California Young Reader Medal." (CYRM website)

Creekside students may help to decide the 2018 winners by reading all three nominated books in a category, and then voting for their favorite in the Creekside Library by March 23, 2018. All participants who read all three books in a category and vote will receive a $10 gift certificate to spend at the Spring Book Fair, April 16 - 20, 2018. Medal winners will be announced May 1, 2018.
