About Mrs. Maloney

This year is the start of my 17th year of teaching.  I have spent time teaching both 3rd and 4th grades at Webster, Maryville, and now Renfro for the last 8 years.  I have my Bachelor’s degree from SIUE and I regularly attend teaching conferences to further my education. I am currently enrolled at SIUE for my Master's degree as well. I base my classroom decisions on research for best practices in education.

I live in Troy with my husband and our 2 daughters.  Mallory is 12 and starting 7th grade.  Kennedy is 10 and in 5th grade.  We also have a 4 year old dog named Toby.  We stay busy with soccer, hiking, and occasional match of Mariocart!  Spending time with my family is my favorite thing to do!    

My favorite subject in school is reading and my goal is to inspire my students to become life-long readers.  I hope to see growth and make connections with each child this year!
