About Central University of Punjab

The Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) has been established in 2009 along with other new Central Universities by an Act of Parliament (No 25, of 2009). The University is accredited with 'A' grade from NAAC. The Central University of Punjab is the youngest university that has secured its position in the top 100 institutions (87th Rank) in the University category & 1st amongst New Central Universities in the MHRD’s NIRF Ranking 2020. Currently, CUPB has 31 departments spread over 12 schools in areas ranging from Sciences, Technology, Humanities, Laws and Social Sciences.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics was established in 2015. Department of Mathematics & Statistics at Central University of Punjab offers programs in the areas of mathematics and statistics that leads to the degree of Master of Science and Ph.D. in Mathematics/Statistics. The department offers facilities for intensive training and research in the basic areas of Mathematics (including Applied Mathematics) and Statistics. Research interests in Mathematics include Differential Geometry, General Topology, Numerical Analysis, Partial Differential Equations, Mathematical Physics and Mechanics etc. Research interests in Statistics include Regression Analysis, Copula Theory, Sampling Design, Spatial Statistics, Density Estimation, Quality Control, and Design of Experiments.

About International Academy of Physical Sciences (IAPS)

International Academy of Physical Sciences (IAPS) was founded in 1994 with its headquarters at Allahabad (now Prayagraj), India with its objective to promote interdisciplinary approach and foster synergy among diverse subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Earth Science and various fields of Biophysical Sciences, such as Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, etc. The Academy has previously organized twenty-six conferences in reputed Universities/ Institutes across the country as well as foreign countries.

About the Conference

The proposed International Conference on Recent Advances in Differential Geometry and Topology to be hosted by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Central University of Punjab in collaboration with International Academy of Physical Sciences (IAPS) is intended to bring pioneering and upcoming researchers to a common platform to discuss the pressing issues in Differential Geometry, Topology and allied areas. This conference focuses on recent research related to any sub branch of mathematics and its applications in the Theory of General Relativity, Chemistry, Geometric Modeling, Engineering, Image processing, Wireless Communications, Biology, Computer Science, Econometrics, and other allied areas.
