Ana Barwick has been an English teacher for over 20 years, she has graduated from Education, English, and Physical Education with a post-graduation in Psychopedagogy, Neurolinguistic and has a TESOL certification from Bridge in USA

Ana Carolina Pessoa is a 29-year-old English teacher with over a decade of experience, having begun her career at 18. She lived in Chicago for ten months as an au pair in 2020 and has taught online since 2021. Currently taking a Letras Licenciatura degree at Faculdade Cultura Inglesa, Ana is passionate about engaging students of all ages, particularly to help teens develop reading and writing skills in a digital age.

André Deschamps is a Cultura Inglesa teacher and headteacher in Rio. Being in the EFL field since 1996, he has worked as a teacher, teacher trainer, and speaking examiner. He holds a degree in Languages, an MA in English Literature and the C2 Proficiency certificate. He is passionate about teacher education and the role of creativity in the classroom.

Bianca Lavezo is a CPE, CELTA, TESOL, and Train the Trainer holder, as well as a CELT-P tutor. At Cultura Inglesa, she is a teacher and a course creator in Plataforma Bilíngue, an intracurricular program for regular schools. Her interests include teacher training, learner agency and social equity in ELT. She also enjoys reading, travelling and nature. 

Caio Copatto has a degree in Social Communication from Universidade Metodista de São Paulo, holds the CELTA, as well as the Anaheim TESOL Certificate. Besides working as an ESL teacher for 15 years, Caio has expertise in e-Learning and digital educational services.

Caio Oliveira has been an English teacher for seven years, consistently driven by an insatiable passion for learning. Currently in the seventh semester of his teaching degree at Faculdade Cultura Inglesa, he also teaches at the same institution. His deep commitment to the profession has led him to pursue qualifications such as CELTA and language certifications.

Caique Perillo holds a degree in Languages from Universidade Paulista and a postgraduate degree in English Language and Literature from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. With extensive experience as an English teacher, he currently works as an Educational Coordinator, offering a rich and practical perspective on innovation in education.

Camila Feitosa has been an EFL teacher since 2005, working with various levels and age groups over the years. She holds an ICELT and Delta Modules 1 and 2. Passionate about teaching teenagers and integrating culture into her lessons, Camila enjoys guiding students toward success in Cambridge exams and has been a devoted Beatles fan since 1995.

Carla Pimentel is a people's enthusiastic and truly believes in education as a weapon for personal discovery and freedom. She's been a bilingual professional for 20 years and has worked in English centers, regular schools, companies, publishing houses and non-profit organisations. She is graduated in Letras Inglês (licenciatura) and translation from PUC-SP and is a post-graduation student in Educação Bilíngue at Faculdade Cultura Inglesa at the moment.

Dennis D'Angelo has been a Cultura Inglesa teacher for over 16 years - on and off - and holds a BA in Marketing, the ICELT certication, BULATS and CPE. He has worked as a branch manager for 8 years although his heart never left the classroom for good. He also plays the guitar, keyboard and drums, for his neighbours' delight.

Douglas Costa works at Cultura Inglesa in Rio das Ostras, RJ, and holds the TKT 1 and TKT 3 certificates, with plans to earn more. He began at Cultura in 2020, aiming to provide engaging and dynamic learning experiences for his students. These experiences have inspired him to develop this workshop.

Erica Pianura is a dedicated educator with over 20 years of experience as an English teacher and translator, working in both private and public schools. A graduate in Languages with a Master’s in Linguistics, Erica now serves as the Linguistics and IB Coordinator at Escola Cristã Genebra, where she combines her expertise to inspire and guide her students.

Érica Sodré is an experienced English teacher with over 20 years in the field. She holds multiple qualifications, including the CELTA, TESOL and TESOL YL certificates, as well as a BA in English Language, a BA in Pedagogy, and a specialisation in Technology in Education. Currently, she works as an educational assessor at Cultura Inglesa. Her professional interests focus on teaching teenagers, integrating physical movement into the classroom, bilingual education, and the application of neuroscience in education.

Felipe Braz is a CELTA and ICELT holder who has been working for Cultura Inglesa since 2009. He is now teaching from home and is genuinely interested in finding solutions for the challenges of remote teaching.

Fernanda Rodrigues holds a degree in Social Sciences, English, and Portuguese from USP. With 30 years of experience teaching English, she finds working with very young learners to be the most rewarding aspect of her career, bringing joy and fulfillment to her teaching journey.

Gabriel Keene's passion for the English language spans over 30 years, during which he has had the privilege of imparting and expanding his knowledge through teaching. Holding the CELTA and other teaching qualifications, he actively seeks innovative ideas and solutions to enhance the classroom experience.

Gabriela Lazarini is an experienced English language teacher with 13 years of expertise and Cambridge certifications in proficiency and teaching methodology. Passionate about bilingualism, she explores its cognitive benefits and promotes effective strategies for language learning. Gabriela is dedicated to transforming her students' lives through personalised instruction and a deep understanding of language acquisition.

Gabriela Parra is an experienced English language educator with a CELTA certification from Cambridge. She has been teaching at Cultura Inglesa since 2018 and has over 20 years of experience in the field of education. She is passionate about fostering confidence and connection in the classroom, emphasising the importance of rapport in language acquisition.

Glauco Souza has a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics and is currently completing his PhD. He has several research papers published and is a conference speaker, often on themes such as Teacher Education and Critical Education. He is a also a CELTA trainer and a Cambridge Speaking Examiner. 

Guilherme Borges is a teacher at Cultura Inglesa Maricá, bringing a passion for educating young learners. A graduate from UERJ, his commitment to teaching is evident through his dedication to excellence in English language education.

Huan Candido holds a degree in Language Studies, having specialised in Portuguese and English. He completed his English training at Skill Idiomas and has five years of experience in language schools and regular education.

Isabela Rao is a teacher and academic assistant at Cultura Inglesa in Londrina and Curitiba. She holds a Master’s degree in Language Studies and an undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature Teaching from the State University of Londrina. She has eight years of experience teaching English from A1 to C2 levels to learners in all age groups. 

Jay Rodrigues is an EFL and a DIPTesol/CertTESOL tutor at Cultura Inglesa Duque de Caxias. He also works as a freelance teacher. Besides that, he holds the Cambridge CPE and a degree in Languages. He participates regularly in Conferences and Teacher's Forums in Brazil.

Jeniffer Gimenes is a kindergarten teacher and cat enthusiast who can be found reading or attending concerts when not working. Graduated in Letras Licenciatura (English/Portuguese), she believes that love is a powerful tool for almost everything. 

José Menine, born in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, built his foundation in English at São Camilo, where he was inspired by teachers who combined language and culture in their lessons. Influenced by a family routine of subtitled TV shows and classic American music, he developed a passion for English that he now shares through his work as a teacher.

Juan Lopes is a teacher trainer based in Toronto. He is currently one of the coordinators in the Braz-TESOL SP City Chapter. He holds a bachelor’s in English Language and Literature from USP, the CELTA, ICELT and Delta M1 and M2. He is a Social Psychology and Discourse Analysis enthusiast.

Julia Ribeiro holds a BA in Languages and Literature from USP, along with CELTA, ICELT, and Anaheim certifications. Teaching at Cultura Inglesa São Paulo since 1998, she combines academic expertise with practical skills to foster language development. Passionate about education, she is dedicated to creating engaging and effective learning environments that inspire student success.

Julia Russo is a skilled educator specialising in early childhood and elementary education. With a C1 Cambridge English certification and training in educational inclusion, she creates dynamic, inclusive learning environments. Júlia integrates language learning into her teaching, focusing on holistic child development. Dedicated to innovation, she continually seeks new methodologies to enhance her students’ educational experiences.

Juliana Vernaglia is a teacher and head teacher at Cultura Inglesa. She is a CPE, CELTA and TESOL Certificate by Anaheim University holder. She’s passionate about teaching and strongly believes in people’s growth and development. She lives in São Paulo with her husband and two kids, Bernardo and Felipe. Her hobbies include doing yoga, rollerblading, reading and writing.

Khristyan Garcia, 29, is a teacher at Cultura Inglesa with over seven years of experience. He holds a degree in Letras (Portuguese/English), CELTA, and TESOL certifications, and a C2 Proficiency certificate. Passionate about English, he creates engaging lessons and materials, including a gamified platform, focusing on communication and essential skills for student success.

Laryssa Rangel is a Languages graduate with a postgraduate specialisation in bilingualism and multilingualism. Her research focuses on teaching English to young learners and the challenges teachers face due to gaps in college curricula. Married, a Christian, and mother to an eight-month-old boy, Laryssa is passionate about education and family life.

Laura Romiti is a Uruguayan language teacher and teacher trainer with 13 years' experience. She currently works in High School and University settings and has her own language center called Lone Star Language Solutions, in which she teaches English, Spanish and Portuguese. She also holds a BA in Sociology, a Master’s in Education (Curriculum & Evaluation), and several certifications in inclusive education.

Lauren Nock has been a Cultura Inglesa teacher for six years, teaching a range of age groups and levels. She has been acting as Head teacher for three years and is an Academic and Learning & Development Helper. Lauren has completed CELTA and the Cambridge Train the Trainer course.

Ligia Carlucio holds a specialisation in English Language and is currently studying Pedagogy and Bibliotherapy. She has been a teacher for over 30 years and has been working with Plataforma Bilíngue Cultura Inglesa since 2023. She is interested in Bilingualism, CLIL, and literature. 

Lislei Douroucas is a teacher and trainer with over 20 years of experience. She holds a degree in Literature (Portuguese/English) from UFRJ and a specialisation in Positive Psychology from PUC/RS. Certified in CPE, ICELT, and TKT, she actively participates in conferences like ABCI, Braz-TESOL, and LABCI, sharing her expertise in English teaching and creative problem-solving.

Lucas Domiciano is an English Teacher, graduated in Languages -  Portuguese/English and post-graduated in English Teaching Metholody. He has a hearing disability, which allowed him to study the approach of teaching English to deaf people. He has been a teacher since 2012 and had the chance of being a coordinator for three years at another franchising.

Lucas Nascimento, an English teacher and mentor at Cultura Inglesa since 2016, holds a degree in Languages (Portuguese/English) from UVA and internationally recognised certifications, including Cambridge Advanced, TKT (Modules 1–3, CLIL), Trinity CertTESOL, and various British Council courses. With expertise in EMI, pronunciation, and classroom management, he is committed to innovative and effective teaching practices.

Luciana Berner first graduated as a graphic designer. During her 4 years’ living in England, she decided to rekindle her interest in education, taking courses and working with children, teens and adults of many different nationalities. Luciana has been working with Cultura Inglesa for 16 years. She also graduated in English Language and Visual Arts teaching.

Mariza Avellar, has worked as an English teacher for 14 years, combining a passion for language education with a background in Psychology, having graduated from UFRJ. She holds a Trinity CertTESOL certificate, which reflects her expertise in teaching English to speakers of other languages. 

Marylin Caparelli began teaching in 1994. She is currently an Academic & Digital Mentor at Cultura Inglesa in São Paulo, helping teachers to enhance online learning. Passionate about humor in education, she has researched its impact on learning for 15 years. Marylin studied Social Sciences at the University of São Paulo and is pursuing a degree in Pedagogy and a postgraduate course in Neurosciences in Education.

Oluwatosin Junaid is an ELT teacher and EAP instructor, pursuing a PhD in Linguistics and Literary Studies at the University of São Paulo. Her research focuses on academic literacy and writing. She holds a Master's from the same university and enjoys reading, singing, writing, cooking and contributing to her community through language teaching.

Patricia Ibiapina has been teaching English since 2006 and has led a language program for a university in Dubai and its branch in Angola. Currently, she serves as a mentor for teachers in India. Patricia holds TKT 1, 2, and 3, TESOL, CELTA, and Train the Trainer certifications. Additionally, she is an examiner for the British Council in Japan.

Pedro Braga, a graduate in English from Estácio de Sá University, has completed all levels of General English at Cultura Inglesa. Currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in English Language Teaching at Estácio de Sá, Pedro has been teaching English since 2020, demonstrating a strong commitment to language education and professional growth.

Priscila Reigada has been an EFL teacher since 2019, primarily working with teenagers and diverse groups. With a background in Journalism and History, she is passionate about the intersection of communication and the social aspects of education.

Raquel Alves, is an experienced English teacher with 14 years in the field. She holds degrees in Pedagogy, Modern Languages, and Linguistics from USP, where she conducted research on phonology and language acquisition. She also earned a Master’s in Education at USP, specializing in the Sociology of Education, and is a CELTA-certified professional.

Raquel Ribeiro is a Digital Mentor at Cultura Inglesa and a Teacher Educator certified by the British Council in partnership with the City & Guilds. She is the coauthor of the Teachers' Editions 1 and 2 of the Coursebook EVOLVE. She presented at the Digital Learning Week 2024 at UNESCO Paris headquarters on the topic of Integrating GenAI into EFL classrooms.

Renata Sarai, an English teacher at Colégio Pentágono, holds bachelor's degrees in Journalism, English Language, and Pedagogy. She also holds a graduate degree in English Language Teaching and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Neuroscience, Education, and Child Development at PUC. With seven years of experience at Pentágono, Renata continuously seeks innovative practices to enhance her classes and advance her teaching career.

Samara Jorge is a Master’s student in Language Education at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP). She holds a Licentiate degree in Languages and a CELTA certification. With over 13 years of experience as an English teacher, Samara is passionate about integrating art into language education to enhance critical thinking and student expression.

Taiane Sena, a graduate in Portuguese/Literature from Universidade Federal Fluminense, believes that literature and books are precious, offering invaluable lessons and friendships. In 2023, she began working at Cultura Inglesa, earned a band 4 in TKT1, and is pursuing additional Cambridge certificates. Taiane values teaching and promoting a reading culture and dreams of becoming a published writer.

Talitha Estevam, is a CELTA-certified teacher at Cultura Inglesa since 2023 and an EN-PT translator and interpreter. Passionate about English as a “second soul,” she draws inspiration from timeless literary works. Talitha has also worked as an interpreter with comic book artists at Comic-Con Experience (2016-2018), showcasing her strong connection to the language and its opportunities.

Tathiane Guilherme works as a teacher and a teacher educator at Cultura Inglesa São Paulo. A CELTA tutor, she holds a USP bachelor’s degree in languages and has been working with ELT for 20 years, 14 of which at Cultura Inglesa São Paulo.

Thaís Ganut is a passionate educator with a decade of experience in early childhood education. She holds a degree in Pedagogy from PUC-SP, a specialisation in literacy from the Instituto Singularidades and a postgraduate degree in Neuroscience from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. For the past two years she has also been teaching English to her Kindergarten students. 

Victor Martins is an experienced EFL teacher with over 24 years of teaching in diverse contexts, including public and private institutions. Holding a Graduate Diploma in Linguistics with a focus on English teaching and a Master’s in Linguistics from UERJ, Victor brings extensive expertise and a deep commitment to language education.

Yuri Fioravante, graduated in Languages from UNESP (2014) and in Education/Pedagogy from USP (2022), with additional graduate degrees in ELT from PUC-SP and UFMG (2017). He holds Cambridge CELTA, TKT, C2 Proficiency, and Michigan ECPE certifications. Teaching professionally since 2015, Yuri has been a dedicated educator at Cultura Inglesa Ribeirão Preto since 2022.
