Isabela Villas Boas is a reference in the Language Teaching segment in Brazil. She holds a PhD in Education with a focus on second language literacy from the University of Brasília and a Master's in TESL from Arizona State University (USA). She developed most of her career at Casa Thomas Jefferson, an English teaching center in Brasília, where she held positions in the academic department for 30 years, the last one being Academic Superintendent for 15 years. She was also a managing partner at the educational consultancy Troika in 2021 and 2022, where she honed her materials writing and editorial skills. Isabela is currently the Executive Academic Director at Cultura Inglesa. She has published books and academic articles, as well as presented in national and international conferences, on the topics of second language writing, assessment, and educational leadership.

Caio has been the executive product manager at Cultura Inglesa since October/2023. He has a degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Marketing; an MBA in digital transformation; and he is currently researching metacognition development in organisational learning in a master's program. In the field of English teaching, he holds the Anaheim TESOL certificate, CELTA and DELTA. His main interests are: leadership, innovation, culture, human development and metacognition.

Daniella Seong Hui You is the Executive Learning & Development Academic Manager at Cultura Inglesa São Paulo. She is responsible for the pre and in-service training programmes and teacher development initiatives. She is also responsible for developing teacher evaluation programs. 

Adriana is an academic coordinator at Cultura Inglesa in the course design area. She has been an ELT professional for 20 years, having worked as an English teacher, mentor, materials writer and teacher trainer. She has a bachelor's degree in Letras, a postgraduate degree in Linguistics and she holds Delta Module 1. Adriana is interested in materials development and teacher training

Paula Botelho is a language teacher with 26 years of experience. As an academic coordinator, she’s mentored educators and designed courses, along with creating instructional materials for different educational contexts. Her academic journey includes an MA in Language Education, an MBA in Human Resources Management, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Inclusive Education, reflecting her interest in and commitment to inclusive teaching practices. Paula is also a university professor with vast experience in distance education.

Cris Bordinhão is passionate about people and culture. She is an Academic Specialist at Cultura Inglesa, and holds the CPE, CELTA, Anaheim TESOL, and Train the Trainer certificates. After taking an MBA in Marketing and a specialisation in Copywriting and Storytelling, she’s found out that telling stories is the most powerful way to reach out to people and help each other grow.  She is part of the BRAZ-TESOL Teacher Development and Learner Autonomy boards and the BRAZ-TESOL Advisory Board. 

Débora has been an ELT teacher for 20 years, 13 of which at Cultura Inglesa São Paulo. She has a degree in translation studies and an MBA in leadership, management and innovation. She’s worked as a representative teacher in partner schools for 6 years, as an academic helper for 3 years and is currently an academic coordinator in the B2B area.

Felipe Emerick is an Academic Coordinator at Cultura Inglesa São Paulo/Brazil, integrating the Learning & Development Area of the Academic Team and mainly responsible for the institutional in-service training initiatives. A Delta holder with a BA in Languages and Education from USP, Felipe is also a CELTA and Delta tutor, and holds an MBA in Project Management from USP/Esalq. His main interests in ELT are teacher education and skills development.

Luiza Brandão has been working as an English teacher for over fifteen years, and at Cultura Inglesa since 2014. She has a baccalaureate in History and is currently working on her second degree in Psychology. Luiza has revised and written pedagogical materials for Cultura Inglesa, Learning Factory and other publishers, and is currently working as a Headteacher.

Marcia is currently an academic coordinator at Cultura Inglesa and in charge of the franchise units. She has been an ELT professional and a teacher trainer for many years, a guest teacher for post graduate course, and is passionate about education and teacher development. Her academic journey includes an MA in Applied Linguistics (UFRJ), a postgraduate degree in Group Dynamics and in Language Teaching. She holds a Teacher Trainer (Cambridge) certificate and an EDEXCEL (Pearson) proficiency certification.

Rafael Rodrigues has been in ELT for 16 years and currently works for Cultura Inglesa as an academic coordinator, particularly in the area of course design. Having acted as a teacher, teacher trainer and materials writer, he is interested in how technology can enhance the learning experience both inside and outside the classroom. Rafael has a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (USP) and holds Delta Modules 1 and 2.

Ricardo Souza is an academic coordinator and a CELTA tutor at Cultura Inglesa, and has been in the ELT field for 17 years. His academic journey includes a degree in English/Literature (UFRRJ), the Cambridge Delta, a specialisation in Bi/Multilingual Education, and he is an MA student at PUC Rio. His main interests are teacher education and teaching for exams.

Vanuza has been working in the ELT field for 33 years and is currently an Academic Coordinator in the B2B area at Cultura Inglesa. She also works as an English teacher at Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Duque de Caxias and  at Secretaria Estadual de Educação do Rio de Janeiro. She holds the Cambridge, Michigan and Oxford Language Proficiency certificates, From Teacher to Trainer from Nile (UK), TKT, DELTA and a Master's degree in Linguistic Education from Chichester University (UK). 

Alexandre Siqueira is a full-time teacher of English, a Cambridge English Speaking Examiner and currently also a Headteacher at Cultura Inglesa. He has been in the profession for nearly 4 decades, and his interests are now as multiple as how to make better use of technologies in ELT through to landscape photography, historical heritage and collecting vinyl albums.

Ana Flávia has been a teacher since the tender age of fourteen, and wishes to never stop! She is an absolute Cambridge freak considering she holds Movers, KET, FCE, CAE, CPE, CELTA and DELTA Module 2 certificates! Whenever she isn't working, she's probably reading a good book, working out (still in progress, but wishful thinking, right?) or spending time with family and friends.

Ana Thompson has been an English teacher for more than 26 years, 21 of which at Cultura Inglesa. She has also been an academic helper since 2022. She holds Google Certifications, the Anaheim YLS and TESOL certifications,  ICELT, Train the trainer and CPE Cambridge certifications. As an instructional designer, her main interests in ELT are inclusive education and creating opportunities to develop effective learning experiences.

Ana Paula has worked at Cultura Inglesa for 8 years and has been an academic helper since 2021. She holds a BA and teaching degree in Letras, the CPE, CELTA and CELT-P. She is now taking a post-graduation course in Psychopedagogy. Some of her main interests include teaching young learners through playful and drama activities, and teenager engagement.

Ana Silvia Puppim graduated in journalism and post graduated in Anthropology of Communication and in Leadership and Human Development. Having experience in leadership in private companies, the government sector and non-governmental associations, I am absolutely convinced that a positive experience, particularly in an educational context, is the key to the success of an organisation. I’ve being carrying out studies into how strategic management can foster positive and healthy transformations within the company and amongst the stakeholders.

Anamaria has been in the field of ELT for over 30 years, inside and outside the classroom. She holds the DELTA and a specialisation in Training Teachers for Secondary Education. She is a CELTA Main Course Tutor, and a DELTA Module 2 tutor. Her main interests are teacher education and assessment.

André Deschamps is a Cultura Inglesa teacher and headteacher in Rio de Janeiro. Being in the EFL field since 1996, he has worked as a teacher, teacher trainer, and speaking examiner. He holds a degree in Languages, an MA in English Literature and the C2 Proficiency certificate. He is passionate about teaching and helping people develop.

Bianca Lavezo is a CPE, CELTA, TESOL, and Train the Trainer holder, as well as a CELT-P tutor. At Cultura Inglesa, she is a headteacher and a course creator in Plataforma Bilíngue, an intracurricular program for regular schools. Her interests include teacher training, learner agency and social equity in ELT. She also enjoys reading, travelling and nature. 

Bruno Detoni is a São Paulo-based educator. He holds a degree in English Language Teaching as well as a postgraduate degree in Sociology. He is currently majoring in Portuguese and Japanese.

Carlos Martins wears multiple hats as a teacher, teacher trainer, materials writer, and course designer. With a postgraduate degree in English Language Instruction and Learning from Faculdade Cultura Inglesa and international English-teaching qualifications, Carlos cherishes the journey of learning, always seeking ways to enhance his skills and contribute meaningfully to the field of education.

Caio Copatto has a degree in Social Communication from Universidade Metodista de São Paulo, holds the CELTA as well as the Anaheim TESOL Certificate. Besides working as an ESL teacher for 13 years, Caio has expertise in e-Learning and digital educational services.

Camila Feitosa has been an EFL teacher since 2005, working with different levels and age groups throughout the years. She holds the ICELT and DELTA Modules 1 and 2 and is passionate about teaching teenagers and exam classes, and bringing culture into the classroom. 

Carla Moreira is a teacher and a Head teacher at Cultura Inglesa, where she has been working for 15 years. She has graduated in Languages and holds a postgraduation degree in English and American literature from UERJ. Among other work experieces and certifications (including CPE, CAE and TKT), she has also worked as a translator at Global Voices and as an English teacher at private and state schools.

Cauany Iwamoto holds a Bachelor's degree in English - Translating and Interpreting from Universidade Metodista. Additionally, she completed a postgraduate program in English Language Teaching at Anhembi Morumbi. With a C2 certification as a teacher since 2019, Cauany brings eight years of teaching experience to her professional profile.

Celia has worked as an EFL teacher for twelve years, almost six of those at Cultura Inglesa SP, where she also contributes to the academic team. She graduated in History (USP) and has a Licentiate degree in English. She also holds the ICELT, TKT, and a Master's in TESOL (University of St Andrews - Scotland), having researched language assessment.

Ciaran has taught English in Goiânia for over 20 years. He holds graduate degrees in Political Science, Philosophy, and Theology. He also holds a Masters Degree in International Relations. He has taught dual diploma High school programs in conjunction with American Universities. Ciaran was formerly a member of the Irish Government Mental Health Tribunal, which investigated cases of involuntary detention in psychiatric institutions. He has worked extensively with people living with autism.

Clara has taught English for 20 years. She has specialisation courses in Language Teaching Methodologies and Educação Infantil. After concluding her Master Degree in Comparative Literature, she has also completed a degree in Pedagogy. Holding TKTs 2, 3, CLIL and YL, Clara has focused on Bilingual Programmes and teaching VYL, as well as designing materials for EFL.

Claudia Ribeiro has been a Cultura Inglesa teacher for 22 years. She has a Portuguese and English Teaching graduation degree from UERJ. She has also a Linguistics lato sensu degree from UERJ. She has a vast experience teaching all age levels, and for her young learners is the most challenging and also the most rewarding one.

Danielli Flores, an English teacher for 17+ years, studied English Language and Literature at UFMT. She completed Creative Teaching and British Life and Culture at Hilderstone College in the UK, was a TEDEd Club Leader and holds the C2 Proficiency and Pass A CELTA certifications. She is also an undergraduate student at Faculdade Cultura Inglesa, actively participating in the MultiTecLin SIG with a keen interest in Critical Thinking, (New) Multiliteracies and technology.

With 36 years of experience, I am a seasoned English educator holding the Cambridge Certificate for Overseas Teachers of English, the Cambridge Examination in English for Language Teachers, and the Cambridge C2 Proficiency. Throughout my career, my roles as a teacher, headteacher, teacher trainer, and coordinator have showcased my commitment to advancing English language education.

Fabi is a Brazilian teacher with over 20 years of experience in teaching students of all ages. She is a specialist in Nonviolent Communication, Positive Discipline and Visible Learning. She is a the leader of the Learner Autonomy SIG in BRAZ-TESOL

Fabio Martelozzo Mendes has been teaching for 23 years. Currently a Head Teacher and materials designer with the Cultura Inglesa Products area, he has contributed to the design of special courses, the new MAC (Cultura Inglesa C1 course) and Proficiency Track (C2 course). Fabio holds Cambridge DELTA Module 1, Cambridge CELTA, Train the Trainer, Anaheim TESOL/TEYL and TKT Young Learners.

Filipe Freitas holds a dual teaching degree in Portuguese and English from UERJ and has fourteen years of teaching experience, including a decade at Cultura Inglesa and eight years in a state public school. Beyond the classroom, Filipe is a Carly Rae Jepsen aficionado and finds joy in staying up to speed with all things pop culture.

I have been working at C.I. Vila da Penha RJ since 2011. I am a C1 Cambridge English Examiner, Special Needs Branch Teacher and Head Teacher of two Branches. I am a TKT 1,2,3, KAL and CLIL holder as well as Cambridge Celta and Train the Trainer. Besides that, I have got Cambridge First and Michigan ECPE. I have been working as a professional Teacher for 38 years. In 2022 I was an Exchange Student for 15 days at International House in London. I love travelling.

João Paixão has 14 years of experience in various methodologies, and currently works for Cultura Inglesa Vila Velha and the Secretary of Education of Espírito Santo. As part of his professional development, he holds the Cambridge CELTA, TKT (II, III, YL and CLIL) and C2 Proficiency certificates. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in Emerging Technologies in Education (MUST University), and holds an MBA in Administration, Finance and Value Generation (PUCRS). Julia Magalhães is a Bachelor in English and Translation Studies, and a Master in Literature, Arts and Culture. Her professional experience includes art education, writing, and many years of teaching. At Cultura Inglesa Julia has worked in regular schools, and currently teaches in the Interlagos branch in São Paulo. She also attends classes from the post-graduate program of Communication and Arts at USP.

Julia Ribeiro holds a BA in Languages and Literature from USP, and the CELTA, ICELT and Anaheim Certificates. Since 1998, she has dedicated to teaching at Cultura Inglesa São Paulo and is passionate about fostering language development, combining academic knowledge with practical teaching skills. Julia is also a mother who loves chocolate, fashion and make-up tutorials.

Julia Russo is a dedicated educator, holding a degree from Estácio de Sá University. With a passion for educating young learners, she has attained a MET C1 certification, showcasing her commitment to excellence in teaching English. Juliette Gaasenbeek is a passionate TEFL teacher and head teacher in São José dos Campos. After having specialised in Sales Promotion marketing in The Netherlands, where she is from, she made a career change in Brazil. She has been teaching all levels F2F and online at Cultura Inglesa. She holds TKTs, CELTA, ICELT, DELTA Module 2 and Anaheim YLs certificates.

Kamille Abrão, known as Kami by many, has been and English teacher for 30 years and a pedagogical coordinator for Cultura Inglesa Novo Hamburgo for 10. She has a postgraduate degree in Bilingual Teaching and Cognition and is a postgraduate student in Sociolemotional Education.

Katia Leite Agostinho has been working at Cultura since 2015. She is a Cultural helper and takes the Faculdade Cultura Inglesa MultiTecLin course. She holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from UEL, a master’s in Chemical Oceanography from USP and the CELTA and Linguaskill certifications. She has presented at the Cultura Inglesa Teachers' Conference before, the Google for Education "Boas Práticas" Panel, and the LABCI Conference.

Kena Moreano Sudá. Educational Adviser specialising in bilingual program implementation for schools, with a decade of experience as an EFL teacher since 2009. Holds a BA in English from the State University of Maringá. Demonstrated expertise spans national and international schools, encompassing both EFL and ESL classrooms, as well as virtual teaching environments.

Khristyan has been an English teacher for 8 years. He has a degree in Letras - Português/Inglês from Centro Universitário Municipal de Franca (Uni-FACEF) and has been working diligently with English teaching since then. Lauren Nock has been a Cultura Inglesa teacher for five years, teaching a range of age groups and levels. She has been acting as Headt eacher in Santa Catarina for two years and is an Academic Products and Learning & Development Helper. Lenora Haranaka has been an English language teacher since 1998 and currently works at Cultura Inglesa São Paulo as Branch Manager. A Delta holder, she has presented in ABCI and Braz-Tesol conferences. Letícia Vieira is a trainee teacher with a passion for teaching. She discovered her vocation during her last English course, where she had the opportunity to teach her classmates. Letícia decided to follow her dream and enrolled in the College of Letters. Ligia Carlucio holds a specialisation degree in English Language and an undergraduate degree in Languages (Portuguese & English). She has been teaching English at private schools and institutes for more than 30 years and she is currently a Pedagogy student. She firmly believes in education and the power it has on developing people. She is interested in Bilingualism, CLIL, and Literature.

Lilian Seda has been an English teacher at Cultura Inglesa since 2010 teaching mainly adults, teenagers, and prep courses. As well as holding a Bachelor's degree in Languages (English and Portuguese), Lilian also holds Delta Modules 1 and 3, CELTA online, Cambridge Train the Trainer and also IH COLT as she is keen on online learning and improving remote classes. Lilian is passionate about teaching, sharing knowledge, being in contact with people, and also learning from students. As she deems education crucial in society, Lilian is constantly improving her career in ELT so as to teach her classes with expertise and fun.

Louise was raised in Brasília and has spent the last ten years focused on the educational area. Luciano Alves graduated in Letras Português Inglês from UNIGRANRIO and has been teaching English for twelve years now.

Ludmila has been working as an English teacher since 2004 at Cultura Inglesa. She has a degree in Languages and Pedagogy, MBA in Business and Post-graduation in Language Teaching. She holds the Anaheim and TKT for YLS, Google certifications, Advanced, Linguaskill and CELTA from Cambridge University. Her main interests in ELT are inclusive education, socioemotional learning and parental engagement.

Luiz Felipe Costa is an accomplished head teacher at Cultura Inglesa Maricá with a passion for nurturing young minds. Luiz holds a Post Graduation in Teaching Young Learners from Universidade Federal Fluminense. His academic journey also includes the Cambridge C1 Advanced Certificate and the Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) for Young Learners Certificate. Luiz's dedication to teaching young learners goes beyond the classroom. Marcel Young has been teaching children, teenagers and adults, from A1 to C2 levels, at Cultura Inglesa São Paulo for over 13 years. A Cambridge C2 Proficiency, CELTA and ICELT holder, Marcel has also acted as an in-house coach and mentor in various branches across São Paulo.

Marcelle Farah, an English educator since 2009, is engaged in academic consultancy, teacher training, and crafting instructional materials, including conversation lessons. Holding a degree in 'Letras - Português / Inglês (licenciatura)' from Universidade Veiga de Almeida (2014) and specialising in Applied Linguistics - English as a Foreign Language from UERJ (2021), Marcelle is a C2 Proficiency (formerly 'CPE') holder from Cambridge and a CELTA certified instructor. Passionate about reading and committed to lifelong learning, she is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Language Studies at PUC-Rio (RJ). Marcelle's research interests encompass SFL and Appraisal Theory, emotions, discourse analysis, identity, semiotics, semantics, culture and society, and teaching and learning skills.

Marcia Oliveira is a professional with a postgraduate degree in Public Relations from UERJ and a background in language teaching. Holding the CELTA certification, she has dedicated 18 years of her career to working for Cultura Inglesa, showcasing her expertise and commitment in the field.

Marylin has been a teacher for 29 years, 14 of which have been dedicated to the research of how roleplay and comedy can boost knowledge retention and motivation. She studied Social Sciences at USP and now is a undergraduate student at PUC-Minas. She tells her students a joke everyday.

Nicole teaches at Cultura Inglesa in the Remote Unit for Beginners. She has been teaching for 8 years in different contexts, and is currently an undergraduate student of Languages with a penchant for Linguistics.

Patricia has been an English teacher for 27 years and is currently a teacher at the Cultura Inglesa Remote Unit Advanced. She has always been interested in the effectiveness of the learning-teaching process. Patricia is a CELTA, Anaheim TESOL and C2 Proficiency  holder. In 2023 she had the opportunity to present her Action Research at the LABCI Conference.

Priscila has been teaching at Cultura Inglesa SP for over 7 years. Graduated in Languages (Portuguese-English) and post-graduated in Education and Bilingualism, she has taught different ages, levels and contexts. For the past 3 years, she has been teaching online. Her main interests rely on subjects such as engagement, social relatedness and social-emotional learning. 

Raquel Andrade is an English teacher, speaker, ELT writer and teacher trainer with over thirteen years of experience. She has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English, and completed a Postgraduate Course in English Language Teaching and New Technologies. She is also a CELTA-qualified professional, and holds the Train the Trainer by the University of Cambridge. Currently, she is contributing to her community through actions on Teacher Professional Development. 

Raquel Ribeiro (BA,s.l.TESOL) is a Google Champion Innovator and a Teacher Educator certified by the British Council in partnership with the City & Guilds. She teaches at Cultura Inglesa São Paulo - Tatuapé branch, and at Cultura Inglesa partner regular schools. She has shared her expertise through writing for the CPD blog "WoBL" by Cambridge University Press, and is a coauthor of the Teachers' Editions 1 and 2 of the English coursebook EVOLVE.

Renata Luz is an ESL teacher born in Rio but currently living in Goiânia with over two decades of experience. Renata is devoted to teaching in both public and private schools, catering to students of all ages. Since 2009, she has been working at Cultura Inglesa, undertaking various roles from teacher to coordinator and manager. Renata holds postgraduate degrees in Applied Linguistics, English Language, Neuroeducational Science, Coaching and Leadership, as well as Project Management, reflecting her passionate commitment to education.

Rodrigo Ferracini is an English teacher at Cultura Inglesa Sorocaba. A CELTA, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency holder with a Bachelor in Letras. His main interests in ELT are language teaching, material creation and the use of technology as a teaching resource.

Tathiane Lopez Guilherme works as a teacher and a teacher trainer at Cultura Inglesa São Paulo. A CELTA and Delta Module 1 tutor, she holds a USP bachelor's degree in languages and has been working with ELT for over 15 years.

Thayná Araújo joined Cultura Inglesa in the first semester of 2022 as a Trainee Teacher. Since then, she has been enjoying to discover the wonders of teaching English as a second language and the challenges that every group and student brings to the classroom. In 2023, Thayná became a full-time teacher, working under the academic guidance of her headteacher André Deschamps.

Thiago Cabral is an ESL teacher based in Goiânia with a post-graduation degree in Languages, Culture, and Teaching from Universidade Estadual de Goiás and a degree in Languages from PUC Goiás/University of Coimbra, Portugal. He has been teaching ESL since 2015 at Cultura Inglesa Goiânia. Additionally, Thiago serves as an Academic Assessor for Plataforma Bilíngue Cultura Inglesa. His teaching experience includes Young Learners, Youths and Adults.

Walter has been teaching English for over 12 years in multiple contexts such as exam preparation and general English. He has experience in teacher education and course design and holds the Delta diploma, CELTA and CertTESL certificate. He currently works at one of the Cultura Inglesa remote units.
