Matild'r THE MUSICAL 2024 - Audition Information
*** The audition dance video has been uploaded below named "Dance audition video". ***
Here you will find all of the information you need to know if you want to audition for a part in the show or want to be involved in the Backstage or Technical support Teams.
Auditioning - for a part.
Auditions will take place on Wednesday 15th May and Thursday 16th May 3:00pm - 6:00pm.
You need to put your name on the sheet in drama for the day you want to audition on.
The order which names are written on the sheet, is the order you will be auditioned in.
Time slots will not be given so you need to be in the audition room, B207 on time.
Once your audition is done, you can go home.
You need to go to B207 on your audition date for 3pm. This room is in Music.
We would like you to sing and act / express yourself through the song you have chosen from the list below.
Songs will stop when we feel we have heard enough. This could be within 30 seconds of the start of the song. This does not mean you have done a bad job, just that we have heard enough for us to make our decision.
We will play the Backing Track of your chosen song in the audition, not the sound track.
Auditions will be recorded to allow the audition panel to review your audition. This will not be shared or shown to anyone other than the audition panel.
You may bring props and / or change into a costume / clothing of your choice but you must be in the holding room in time for your audition.
Please take note, there is a limited number of places available in the cast, so not everyone will be able to be cast.
