Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (REU) In Physics at
The Catholic University of America
The Department of Physics at The Catholic University of America, in collaboration with the Vitreous State Laboratory, offers a Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates Program (REU) in Physics. Undergraduate college students majoring in applied mathematics, biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, and related majors are encouraged to apply. The program is supported by the NSF Research Experiences for Undergraduates Program and provides qualified undergraduate students with an opportunity to conduct ten weeks of summer research with internationally renowned physicists.
Students who are selected to participate in the program will receive:
A stipend of $7,000
Travel reimbursement up to $850 for travel to and from Washington DC
Access to all university Recreation and Fitness facilities
Housing and meals on campus
Access to world-class research facilities
One-on-one instruction from internationally recognized faculty
Opportunity for a research presentation at a scientific conference
