Dual Educatoin System of Miaoli County High School Opens a New Horizon of International Education from Miaoli County Government
In order to promote the high school international diploma curriculum system, the Miaoli County Government encourages Miaoli County high schools to sign a transnational dual education system. Among the many high schools in Miaoli County, the South-Private Chien Tai Senior High School and the North-County Datong High School are selected for the first time to promote Taiwan and the United States. The dual education system of high school was implemented in the 111 school year. County Mayor Xu Yaochang said that Miaoli County has been deeply engaged in English education for many years. In recent years, the government has continued to promote bilingual education in elementary and secondary schools in Miaoli County due to the government’s 2030 national bilingual policy. The goal is to advance to an international school to enhance students’ learning horizons.
