Teach students and promote meaningful learning experiences as opposed to covering book pages.
Course schedules are very tight and syllabi very heavy. Teachers need time to be able to do new and different things with students. Allow teachers time to innovate in their classes, by having some “free experimental classes” in the schedules. We would have to eliminate some of the content to be tested in order to allow time for the experimental classes.

- We need the course coordinators and academic superintendent to greenlight these two ideas.
- We need to review the goals of each course to focus on the most important topics and eliminate some of the content to be tested.
- We have to start selecting course books that allow more freedom for experimental classes.
- We need to make all necessary changes in the schedules and tests. We need to have a repertoire of ideas to help teachers who might have a hard time coming up with these new experimental/innovative classes.

- How might we redesign and reorganize the course schedules, getting rid of the page-by-page approach?
- Can we organize the syllabi of all courses in learning goals/outcomes based on CEFR instead of on each particular coursebook?
- How might we make time in the schedule for these creative lessons?
- How can we incentivize teachers to try someting new?
