While all of your assignments will be posted here, you will be turning in your assignments, with the sole exception of essays and projects, on Classroom.

This cycle will cover an introduction into the world's of Dystopia's and Utopia's as well as our first short story of the year, "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson.

This cycle will cover the concept of equality and basic human rights in "Harrison Bergeron" by Kurt Vonnegut as well as a TED Talk about gender differences in marketing.

This cycle will introduce the impact that technology has on life in "The Pedestrian" by Ray Bradbury. "The Pedestrian" is the last short story in the unit and paves the way for a deeper exploration into this topic for our first full-text study on Fahrenheit 451.

This cycle will build on the previously touched upon concepts of rhetoric (ethos, pathos, logos). By the end of the cycle, you will be able to successfully identify and use rhetoric in your writing.
